Personality:
Robyn hill is based on the concept of Robin Hood. She is defined by her ideals and devotion to the people of Mantel and her opposition of government elitism. Robyn is extremely dedicated to Mantle and can be idealistic in her belief that every person in Mantel deserves a fair chance of happiness and success in life. This becomes an almost dogmatic and activist view, going so far as to adopt the slogan 'show them your teeth' a possible allusion to the radical ideas mirrored by the White Fang for faunus equality. Her activist views are apparent in the numerous speeches that she gives while running for council chair, as well as the drastic measures that she is willing to use after losing the election to Jacques Schnee who stole it. Her dislike for the status quo and the government is seen by her hostility towards the Atlas military, her exchanges with Clover of the supplies being taken to Amnity, and her dismissal of Marrow at the celebration. Her dislike of Jacques Schnee for his unfair treatment of workers and unfair distribution of wealth are points she's highly vocal about. And when she is unable to oppose these through legal means by winning the election she resorts to vigilante tactics and begins to hijack military transports; robbing from the rich and giving to the poor.

Outside of those in the military and upper elite, Robyn is very understanding and personable. This is seen by the influence she is able to garner among the people, the relationship she has with the Happy Huntresses, and the fact that despite graduating at the top of her class from Atlas she refused to join the military and instead decided to help the people of Mantle. Still, Robyn can seem very crass and arrogant in the manner in which she speaks, stating that she doesn't really have much talent for public speaking despite being able to sway and motivate crowds. She shows no discrimination towards either Humans or Faunus, and uses nicknames with most everyone so that things seem a little less formal and more casual. This is further displayed in the fact that while imprisoned she shares personal stories and tries to get Qrow talking after Clover's death.

Despite the personable appearance though, Robyn has found it hard to form attachments to other people. Finding that many people push her away and distrust her because of her semblance and worrying that she's going to sniff out all of their dirty little secrets. This goes to show that to Robyn the truth is a core part of who she is, as a semblance is a manifestation of one's soul. Robyn is slow to trust others, having become used to the rejection and alienation of others, the way that people casually lie and cheat to further their own agenda. But for those that she has come to trust she is willing to give everything without hesitation, putting her full belief and trust in them as is seen with Fiona Thyme, Joanna Greenleaf, & May Marigold. Even as she is incarcerated she trusts them to continue helping and evacuating the people of Mantle, never questioning whether they are capable of it. All while she continues to remind Jacques of his crimes and stating that the blood of all those lost is on his hands as well as Tyrian and Watts.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping:
Semblance: Robyn's Semblance allows her to see if a person is telling the truth or a lie. In order for this to work, she must grasp the other person's hand. Their hands will be coated in pale lilac Aura. She will then ask a question, and if the other person is telling the truth, the Aura will turn light green.

Aura Generation: Aura is the manifestation of one's soul in RWBY and can be used for a wide range of abilities. The specific abilities and their strengths differ from individual to individual and are dependent on a number of factors, such as experience, training and innate skill. It is predominantly used for protection from harm, but is also what fuels one's Semblance.

Combat Ability: In terms of overall combat abilities, it is implied Robyn is a capable fighter. It is mentioned that she, along with the other Happy Huntresses, are top graduates from the Atlas Academy who refused to join the Atlas military.

Oration: Though Robyn jokes that she has never been one for public speaking, she is shown to have a natural empathy and inflection that allows her to appeal to a large number of people. She is articulate and concise, able to speak passionately without becoming overly emotional.
